Amy T. Granite is a Southern California-based journalist and writer with over a decade of experience contributing to print and online publications and confirming facts in television newsrooms. In January 2020, Granite left her role as a news desk editor in Portland, Oregon, to pursue writing about people once again. She was on assignment in New Orleans when lockdown hit and eventually drove back to the West Coast in an RV, surveying the new American landscape in disbelief. Daunted yet inspired, Granite relocated to Southern California months later in another awesome road trip, this time filled with winding roads worth writing about. After reporting on food, art and cultural happenings for over a decade, Granite is driven to rewrite her brand of service journalism to guide consumers through COVID_19 restrictive times while they're on the road and beyond.
Over the years, Granite's work has appeared in The San Diego Union Tribune, San Diego CityBeat, Eater, Pacific San Diego Magazine, West Coaster, Los Angeles Times, Modern Luxury and many more. Email amytgranite@gmail.com.
